Coronavirus Precautions

At Ferring Street Veterinary Surgery we are taking the COVID-19 outbreak very seriously. We feel the responsibility to keep the community safe and help our NHS.

We have put measures in place to protect both our staff and clients for all of our wellbeing. These measures are also in the hope that our staff can remain well and at work to continue to provide care for our patients.

We always practice high standards of hygiene and are trained in disease control. We will continue to use personal protective equipment and keep surfaces clean with products that are effective against Coronavirus.

We ask for our clients help in the following ways:

Please make us aware if you, or someone you have been in contact with, is suffering with symptoms of Coronavirus before we examine your pet.

There will be no face to face contact between clients and staff. We will triage your pet by telephone consultation then admit your pet if required to perform a physical examination or necessary procedures.

Please bring your mobile phone when you come to the surgery and a warm coat as you will be asked to wait outside or in your car.

We will not be performing routine procedures during lockdown.
